Private Houses

Detached Dwelling
Thorganby, Lincolnshire. Working closely with the client, cdc Architecture carried out the concept design, which managed to deliver the very exacting requirements of the client, while at the same time being of traditional vernacular design on the outside and rather more contemporary on the inside. The house sits on a slope and uses this to its advantage - open plan living space with stunning views across the valley beyond dominate the first floor while bedroom accommodation is provided in the lower 'basement' storey. Planning Permission obtained in 2004, and Full Plans Building Regulations Approval granted in 2006. cdc Architecture also provided technical and construction design services. Completed 2007.

Detached 4 bedroom Dwelling
Grasby, Lincolnshire. Concept design, Local Authority Consultations, Planning Permission obtained 2008, and Full Plans Building Regulations Approval granted 2008, technical and construction design. Completed 2011.

Detached Dwelling with 'Granny Annexe'
Hatcliffe, Lincolnshire. Immediately South of St. Mary's Church and set well back from the road, this house occupies an idyllic position in the very heart the of the village. The house follows a broadly L-shaped plan, and is designed to provide absolute seclusion and views over the adjacent farmland, while also preserving the privacy of nearby houses. Concept Design, Planning Permission, Building Regulations Approval, and technical design all provided by cdc Architecture.

Detached bungalow
Marshchapel, Lincolnshire. Our client originally obtained this building plot, a ‘windfall’ site originally being part of the gardens of an adjacent dwelling, with Planning Permission to build a modest 2 bedroom bungalow. Cdc Architecture compiled a completely redesigned scheme with much greater square footage, that better suited the needs of the client. Planning Permission was obtained by cdc in 2008. Cdc also provided Full Plans Building Regulations Approval (granted 2009), technical and construction design. Completed 2011.

Detached Houses
Caistor, Lincolnshire. These 2-and-a-half storey dwellings were designed and built as a pair, each offering 4 bedrooms, open plan living space, and a large sun room to the rear. cdc Architecture provided technical design services, obtained Full Plans Building Regulations Approval, and discharged Planning Conditions. Completed 2009.
